Description
Actions for Obsidian integrates the personal knowledge management tool Obsidian with Apple's automation ecosystem. With 40+ Shortcuts actions, it brings your notes and automations together, making Obsidian a first-class citizen in Apple's Shortcuts app. Use it to bring information from other apps into your notes, or to bring information from your vaults into other apps.
Some of the possibilities it adds:
- Creating, manipulating, searching, opening, organizing notes, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly ones
- Working with files
- Working with Dataview

What’s New
Version 2025.1.0
v2025.1.0 brings lots of bugfixes for several notes actions; keeps AFO out of the dock where before it would pop in and out when one of its Shortcuts actions was active; and removes the dedicated "Periodic Notes" actions -- the functionality is still there but was moved into the standard notes actions last year, and so these old actions aren't needed anymore.

The utility provides a lot of extra automation functionality, and the support is outstanding.
Glad it exists
It works good, has a 14 day free period (after that it’s a one time purchase)
Hopefully there will come a day when obsidian itself gets shortcut support; but until then this is great.
