Description

Passenger is the companion app to ForeFlight Mobile that answers the question “Are we there yet?” Built on ForeFlight’s high-performance map engine, Passenger automatically connects to your pilot’s ForeFlight app and displays the current route so you can monitor your flight’s progress.

Passenger also provides helpful flight information like time to destination, expected arrival time, altitude, groundspeed, and magnetic bearing. Any time your pilot makes changes to the route in ForeFlight, Passenger will automatically update the route shown to reflect those changes.

Works well. Needs better map.

The app works well and as advertised. Simple and elegant. However, the map has almost no detail. Passengers like seeing the details in a map, so they know what city/state/country/river/lake/etc. They are flying over. This would make the app slightly more interactive and fun.

Surface features needed

Great app and my wife who flies with me uses it all the time to see when we expect to arrive and relatively where we are. However the more conf map needs more surface features to have the passenger look and locate them making it more entertaining

More detail

It works quite well to show where you are but there’s no detail on the map. It would be nice if it would show a satellite view like google maps or even better if it could sync whatever chart the pilot was using. Passengers would probably enjoy it more with some detail.
