Need accessories and an account

This looks like a great app, but you need to buy accessories to make it work AND must sign up for an account. This is not made clear in the app description.

Just signed up for this app but deleting immediately! What a waste of my time

As previous reviewer said it requires sign up (which I didn’t mind) and accessories for this app to work. I thought they meant they didn’t have an Apple Watch (which I do) so I got the app expecting it would work with my watch once installed.... yeah, not so. This app requires you to buy their specific thermometer for it to work, which I’m absolutely NOT going to do, so this app will be deleted immediately after this review is finished.
What a misleading waste of time.
I’d rather use my good old trusty regular thermometer and forget about this useless app.
