The Luminar Mobile picture editor is optimized for devices running iOS/iPadOS 17 and newer. Please note that on iPad 6-gen, certain advanced features such as Erase, Sky AI and Relight AI are not available.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the cost of the chosen package, unless canceled 24-hours in advance prior to the end of the current period. Very Fun to use but not only for some people
The target market here is clearly people who do not have or use the desktop app, this is a great stand alone app but it lacks enough features that the desktop has to make it hard to justify using even though its really a nice and fun modern UI to use. I would like to at least see an auto white balance tool. Also WHERE are my files Saving when I do a large export? They are visible in the app but not in the iPad file editor so I don’t see how I can do anything with the files like open them in another app to continue the editing process?

In terms of functionality and features, our Luminar Mobile app is significantly different from Luminar Neo. Mobile devices cannot reach the capacity of a desktop computer or a laptop, so Luminar Mobile does not contain some features from the desktop version. Missing masking feature
The app overall seems to work correctly but the lack of masking feature is a deal breaker for me. Would be nice to be able to work from the local files instead of the apple photos reel and store the edits in a sidecar file like DXO and photomator.
Is the masking feature is in the roadmap?

Hi! We appreciate your interest in Luminar Mobile. The masking feature is not currently available, but we'll consider adding it in the future. Regarding the local files, it is possible to open photos by importing images from your Apple system library or external platforms such as iCloud Drive or Dropbox. Click on the folder icon with a plus sign to browse your phone. Luminar Mobile stores edits on your photos so that you can return to editing at any time, but it's not possible to export as a sidecar file.
Luminar Neo
Neat app until you go to save and you can't unless you pay. Not even a free option.
