Version 4.6
We've heard you loud and clear: the experience browsing the AP News app needs to be improved. Our developers have been hard at work and this update aims to bring you a snappier and much more responsive app without freezing, crashing, or overheating.
This update fixes issues with sharing and improves the custom font adjustment functionality in the settings. We are working hard to update the app to support many new exciting features in 2025. Please keep the feedback coming!

Excellent!
This is hands down my favorite news app. The AP has excellent coverage across all types of news both domestic and international with detailed and timely reporting. I do wish the app would allow you to tap and zoom on photos. That would be a huge improvement. Sometimes it’s hard to see details in photos when they can’t be zoomed in on. Otherwise, it’s great and keeps getting better
App not refreshing
My app and feed have been stuck on news from January 8th 2025 and I’ve tried updating and restarting with no success.
Useless
What effect can pop-ups have on your website EVERY 3 seconds? Scrolling half a page to get over those stupid “quiz” segments, spending more time cancelling stupid pop ups to sign up for email. Enough you morons. If you want money then just offer a $4.99/month thru app with no ads. Morons. I hate this stupidity. Stop making all the text so small too. It’s like you’re trying to drive people away. Morons.
