I want to love it…

This app has a nice layout and spread of health factors to track. It’s helping me keep track of a number of health things in one place, which is convenient. I am very frustrated by the data entry itself. There are a lot of little automatic things that make life difficult such as: often something I enter about the end time of an activity changes the start time so I have to go enter it again. If I miss the change, the data ends up incorrect. Sometimes the data is incorrect in a way that impacts other data in the app. When I try to edit the data, the only thing to do is delete the whole entry. So, today, because I entered sleep at 10am instead of 10pm accidentally, it ended up linked to my previous days’ sleep. I can’t fix it without reentering yesterday and today. Frustrating. Being able to edit just a single part of the data is really key. Beyond that, to really love the app, I’d need it to be more customizable. When I log moods and feelings, the feelings I want are rarely there. I’d like to be able to add a customized type of exercise I do all the time. I’d like to be able to specify whether nutrients are food or supplements. It would be icing on the cake if I could just say which foods I’d eaten and have it track nutrients for me. It’s an app that I now use daily, and also wish I could be in charge of improving daily.

Not the best, but amazing potential!

I got an Apple Watch on Xmas and when I got it an app on health appeared on my iPad. I was so confused bc I didn’t know what it was for and I hadn’t downloaded or had it before. The thing is, my family has a rule called no electronics upstairs and since neither my Apple Watch nor my iPad are upstairs with me, the sleep feature is completely useless. I’m sure a lot of families have this rule so it confuses me why you need to have these things with or near you. Also, it never has any data for me. It doesn’t know anything. It always says no collected data. To summarize this app has great potential but it’s not worthwhile to download it if you don’t have an Apple Watch and it just appears. Developer this app isn’t bad like some apps that are just straight up pointless. It has great potential and could be useful. If you see this review please think about some of the things I mentioned. I hope this helps and if I sound rude sry, I don’t mean to be. This app truly does have a great potential.

No way to restore deleted Fitness Activity

I don’t know why you guys charge so much for iCloud backup if you are not storing useful information. I accidentally deleted all the history for my fitness workouts and there is apparently no way to restore it. Years of paying you guys for iCloud back up feels like a waste of money. No one does encrypted backup to a physical device anymore. Just like with photos, when you delete a photo, there is an option to restore the deleted photo before permanently deleting it off the app, there should be an option to restore deleted fitness workouts data in this app. I am so frustrated. I have used all Apple devices and have been heavily relying on the health app and fitness app as one should be able to and losing all this data and being told there’s no way to restore it even though it should clearly be getting backed up to the cloud storage that I pay for is just beyond ridiculous. Apple has the data somewhere, but the fact that no one is able help me get it back is not acceptable. I’ve been a loyal Apple customer and I can see the data is there, you guys just don’t have an option to restore which should be an easy fix. You clearly state that the data is collected so why can’t it be restored? I need someone to help me with this because it does not make sense that there’s no way. There has to be a way to restore accidentally deleted fitness workouts data.
