Hushmail 4+

I’ve been using this app for years now and while it is convenient, it’s pretty buggy and no-frills. I’ve contacted them a number of times about the fact that there is often difficulty connecting to their servers and my response is usually that I need to restart my phone or delete the app and re-download it. I’ve also recommended that they have an option that you can print your emails from the app, but I got a very generic response thanking me for my feedback and that they are “constantly updating their product”, yet this is still not an option. Imagine that in 2024 you can’t print directly from your email app on your phone!

I’ve been using Hushmail for a couple of years and I really enjoyed having the convenience of using the app while on the go. I also enjoyed being able to have more than one account linked on Hushmail due to having a contractor email as well as my own personal business one. However, lately I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall continuous the mobile app because my reply emails remain either in the Draft or Outbox mailboxes and I’ve used both Wifi and Cellular data but to no avail I’ve had to instead reply to emails from my laptop which cancels out the purpose of using the app for the convenience. If Hushmail could work on this issue my rating will go from 1-5 stars. Otherwise the customer service has been wonderful on occasions when I had to use it due to browser issues.

So very frustrating. Not only does it have limited functionality, weird bugs for spell-check correct, and sometimes notifications don't push, it will not send a message if you switch to another app. That means you have to wait until the message sends entirely before pressing the home key, sometimes taking 30+ of babysitting a mail app to do one of the main things it's supposed to do. Otherwise, the next time you open the app it will have an "Outbox" folder added with your message in limbo – or sometimes just send the message immediately upon opening. I'm so frustrated how unprofessional this app has made me look when I haven't had access to my computer. Please Hushmail, get this app together.
